How to install the server
The Magserver comes with an Apache, Mysql and PHP5 installed server.
The software will handle all configuration, optimization and database acces.
1 Automatically install the server
First click install server. The server core files will be downloaded.
After the download it install server and hit extract. (do not change any default settings)
The server will be patched in step 2. please make sure to run the setup_xampp.bat which should launch automatically.
You are prompted to run this setup. (activate the window and hit space to continue)
How to configuring Mysql. Hit control panel and select Svc.
2 How to start building websites
After you have installed the server simply press Ctrl-N to start a new Magento project. Choose your favourite Magento version to be start your project. Your site will be available in less then a minute.
3 How to migrate sites:
You can develop sites off-line, after completion simply upload your site files and make a backup of your sql database.
Upload the site files you have developed off-line to your host.Upload your SQL data to your webhost. Then use our inbuild function "migrate database" to set the correct database connection for your new site. You will be asked to provide your new database information.(Soon available)

When registering please make sure that you set all your permissions to administrator. (right mouse button, permissions)
The Magserver cannot register if you haven't set these permissions.
FAQ:
Q:My server doesn't start. (Apache is not running after first installation)
A: Please make sure that you install the server and the apache and mysql services. [see bullet1]
A2: Close down skype or any other software that use the same port as the Magserver. After you have launched magserver for the first time succesfully you can use Skype anytime you like.
Q: After creating a project [Ctrl-N] and filling in a project name I get an error folder doesn't exist.
A: Please make sure that there is a folder called: components in your installation directory. All Magento files are copied (zipped) in this folder to create new projects from. Magserver extracts these archives to make new projects.
